Wedding Skincare: How I Got Glowing Skin with Caudalie

The secret to perfect skin for your wedding day? In this post, I’ll share with you my favorite products that I used for my wedding! As a bride, you have to think about many things like dress, reception, flowers, and much more. But stop thinking about skincare. In this post, I want to help you, sharing my wedding skincare and how I got glowing skin with Caudalie ‘s products!

Wedding Skincare: How I Got Glowing Skin with Caudalie

1. My wedding skincare products

To have a bright and healthy skin I tried different products. One month after the big day, my skin was dry and needed an intense moisturising action.
Normally my skin is not dry but it soon became dry due to the stress and for the high temperatures recorded in August. (You have to consider that the wedding was in southern Italy where the temperatures were around 35C).

On the advice of a friend of mine I tried the set Caudalie – Vinosource composed of a moisturizing mask, a serum and a face cream.

1.1 Caudalie Moisturising mask 

The main ingredients of the Caudalie moisturizing mask are the green grapes that increase the brightness and moisturise the skin and dear friend, hyaluronic acid that performs a moisturising and anti-aging action. Additionally, most of the ingredients are of vegetable origin while parabens and phenoxyethanol are absent.

I used the mask twice a week as recommended on the package. I applied it to my face and eye area and let it work for 15 minutes. After that, I rinsed it with cold water. I immediately noticed my skin looking brighter and plumped up. However it can also be used also during the night. I recommend to have it absorbed before falling asleep so as not to find it on the pillow the next day.

 

 1.2 Caudalie Vinosource moisturizing sorbet 

After using the face mask, I applied the Vinosource moisturizing sorbet face cream to further moisturize the skin.
The cream is actually designed for sensitive skin by helping to reduce redness and moisturizing it.
The stress of preparation led to my skin suffering a little from the appearance of small spots and redness, all of which were resolved by that treatment.

I found the cream very light and I also recommend it for summer periods. It is easily absorbed and does not leave the skin greasy.

1.3  Cauldalie Serum S.O.S.

The top product of this set is the SOS serum. Fantastic. Over the years and the increase in wrinkles, I have noticed that a good moisturizer is not enough. It is better to use also a serum to help our skin. In general, the serums contain more active ingredients (such as anti-aging, antioxidants, etc. ..) compared to normal creams and therefore their results are more visible in a short time.
This serum contains, in addition, to the well known hyaluronic acid, many polyphenols that act as antioxidants preventing the appearance of wrinkles.

I used the serum as suggested on the package, i.e. in the morning and in the evening every day.
I really liked it and I think it is very effective. That’s why I decided to give it also to my mother, who confirmed my opinion on the matter.

Ultimately, my skin was perfect the wedding day, without any redness or imperfections. I admit that I was lucky to get great results from products not known to me. I risked it. For the most important day of my life I choosing a brand that I had not used for my skincare before. In a previous post, in fact, I mentioned Caudalie only for a lip balm and a hand cream. This daring test had (thankfully) a great result for me that I wanted to recommend it to you.
